    ​​Al-Khalidi: The new chambers system is one of the supporting facilities that the state continuously provides to the private sector and its representative institutions​


    ​​The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, praised the decision of the Council of Ministers during its session on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, headed by the shrine of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz for approving the new system of chambers of commerce, stressing that it is one of the supporting capabilities provided by the state constantly for the private sector and its representative institutions, and it represents an added value for the economic environment in the Kingdom.

    Al-Khalidi pointed out that the chambers of commerce have an important role in representing the interests of traders and manufacturers, and that restructuring and formulating their system in accordance with international standards leads to their business and services that they provide to the private sector and the national economy to the optimal alignment of the paths and objectives of the vision. Al-Khalidi said that the new system regulates the tasks of the chambers of commerce, defines their terms of reference, unifies their efforts, and establishes a new framework for working in accordance with international standards that enhances the role and competitiveness of the private sector.

    Al-Khalidi explained that the system pushes the increase in business and that it also improves the internal work system of the Chamber of Commerce and raises the efficiency of its performance, as it links performance to indicators for measurement and evaluation, indicating that it reflects the size of the development in various governmental and non-governmental agencies that the Kingdom is witnessing since the launch of the vision 2030.
